What do they do at 14 year old physicals?

people are making it sounds like a big deal compared to the other years...What do they do at 14 year old physicals?
At 14 a physical is very similar to previous check ups. If you're worried about a gynecological exam, don't be. Most of the time a doctor will ask you about if you're having sex, doing drugs or drinking alcohol, what kind of physical activity you're doing and what you're eating. (They don't always ask all of those questions, it depends on the doctor.) Usually a doctor does need to examine your breasts, they may also tell you how to do a self breast exam. Other things like listening to your heart, lungs, checking your spine are the normal things doctors do at all check ups.
If you're worried about a gynecological exam, you can have your mom or you can call the office to see if they would recommend one. Usually they wait until you've had sex or want to start on birth control pills. Even if you need one try not to worry too much. It can be embarrassing and uncomfortable but just ask questions about what's going to happen and tell the doctor if something hurts. Most doctors explain what they're doing so you don't have to be scared.

At that age, it's really no big deal, its more of a deal when you're older and need to see a gynocologist. Basically all they do is have you put a gown on, they'll feel around your hips to make sure you have no cysts, they weigh you ask if you've had sex or ask you questions about your period and then listen to your heart rate and stuff like that. Then you'll go for some blood work.
