What happens, in detail to a woman when experiencign a miscarraige?

Like what does she feel, what comes, out, how much does she bleed, and does she in all cases have to be hospitalized? What happens, in detail to a woman when experiencign a miscarraige?
The symptoms of miscarriage can be very different. Usually, it begins with menstrual-type cramps and bleeding that gets steadily heavier. You may pass blood plus other discharge including a sac-type membrane depending on how far along you are. In most cases, it will not be necessary to be hospitalized, but it depends on how far along you are, and how much you are bleeding. You should always be checked by a physician, because in certain cases there will be products that won't be expelled and then a minor surgery procedure called a D and C may need to be preformed to help that happen. Many times, women will feel sadness and depression over the loss, and may need help dealing with that, also. Please seek professional help to be sure. Blessings.
Some women experience cramping or none at all and profuse bleeding with the passage of large clots of tissue. Any woman regardless of symptoms should be evaluated by her ob/gyn or seen in the hospital to determine if it is a spontaneous abortion or bleeding from another source. Retained fetal tissue can lead to complications that would require further intervention and possibly a brief hospitalization. If the woman is anemic, fluid replacement (IV therapy with normal saline or blood transfusions if hematocrit and hemoglobin levels fall beyond what is considered safe) are needed. If you are changing your pad every 1/2 hour or so you need seek medical attention.
