What does a minimizer bra do to your breast?

What does a minimizer bra do to your breast?
In my opinion, it smushes them flat like a pancake. I never liked the way it looked. If you mean physically, it won't hurt you. Personally, I never liked them. I was a 36G cup by the way. Had a reduction and am now a 36C:)
It is for larger breasted women to help their bust look a little smaller. It also helps support them better.
