What does it mean to have a smelly discharge?

What does it mean to have a smelly discharge?
Usually it means there is an infection, but there is no way to tell which kind. Go see a GYN.
It could mean a yeast infection or an STD. Go see your doctor
It means a) you need to wash correctly b) you may have an STD or c) GO SEE A DOCTOR ASAP!
what color is it? if it is clear or gray? it could be bacterial vaginosis (if it is a fishy odor) if it is whitish and has a sour smell it can be just a yeast infection or if it is green it could be trich (an std) either way you need to see your dr to make sure it is nothing.
More info would be helpful but I'll try to give you an answer. Let's see is it green or brown if so it's probably gonorrhea, or clamidiya. If it's white and looks kinds like cottage cheese it's a yeast infection. You need to go see the doctor.
What kind of discharge? Is it thick? Is it a fishy smell? What color? It could be any number of things from a yeast infection, to BV, to an STD. Best bet is to see your doctor so they can diagnose.
it means your discharge smells bad.
