What does the number on a pill mean?

exp: ortho 120What does the number on a pill mean?
it is the mass of the principal constituent of the medicine in miligrams.
It is quite possibly the machine operator number - the number for the person who produced it. If something happened to you, they could track down who the operator was that day it was made.
it tells you how strong the pill is. the higher the number the better, or stronger the pill...
