What effects does green tea have on a pregnancy or the unborn baby?
Actually, contrary to popular belief, green tea carries a high amount of caffeine which CAN harm the baby. It is better to drink herbal tea which has a lower level of caffiene.
"It is important to remember that green tea is a source of caffeine. For this reason, pregnant or breast feeding mothers, who are advised to avoid high caffeine doses, should use it with caution. "
I don't think any really as you are not abusing yourself with tons of it
i believe green tea will have no effect during pregnancy,if it passes through the placenta, you might bear a child who likes green tea,a good question for your doctor
