I often get viral symptoms when I ovulate, and sometimes ovulate right after my period. I have been feeling very badly since my period ended about a week ago, and it actually kept going longer than usual. Is this normal? A sing of menopause? What do I do when I dont feel well with ovualtion?
You don't give your age to discuss the possibility of menopause, most women now are about 51 years. When the ' normal ' menopause is occurring periods begin to get lighter and less frequent, not generally longer.
Mittelschmerz, mid-cycle or ovulatory pain is quite common. A small amount of blood leaks into the peritoneum when some women ovulate. This can be very painful, classically it lasts 2-3 days each time. The solution is to stop ovulation. If you are of and age when you are approaching the menopause, and especially if you smoke, hormone manipulation like this has its risks and problems. Go see your GP to discuss these issues.
Talk to your doctor about birth control. It regulates the hormone fluctuations in your cycle so you don't have those painful highs and lows.
could be but you dont give your age.
