What can you do when its your the time of the month and you have no?

energy im 40 and every month my body is more drained when i have my period i had my pap smear and health check up including mamo and it was a okay but it is the zapping of the energy on my monthly that i can't seem to get under control it effects me my work i don't know what to doWhat can you do when its your the time of the month and you have no?
Are your periods very heavy? If so, you could be suffering from anemia caused by a lack of iron in your body. You can try eating a lot of iron-rich foods or taking an iron supplement every day and see if that helps to build up your red blood cell count!
Is your name Paulina?? Mine is Pavlina?? Anywho-drinks of fluids.
I have the SAME EXACT problem. It really sucks, but I do a few things to try to stabilize it.
1) Tons of tea throughout the day. However, AVOID COFFEE DURING YOUR PERIOD. It causes your hormones to screw up and you can end up bleeding for longer than normal.
2) Sugary but healthy snacks (i.e. granola/energy bar) through the work day for quick energy boosts.
3) Calcium rich drinks and food. This helps control that terrible pain you get in your lower back.
4) Advil for cramps (if any)
5) if nothing else works, then i take Midol for fatigue.
I still get my tired spurts here and there, but with this stuff I'm fine most of the time. I hope that this helped and good luck!
I'm sorry to hear about your problem. Take a multivitamin with Iron and drink extra water. If you go two or more months where you cannot take care of yourself due to your period, you will be diagnosed with PMS, and maybe your doctor can give you something. Also for cramps your doctor may recommend that you take a prostaglandin inhibitor such as motrin or aleve or advil.
