What did they do?

I had surgery cause my appendix busted and they stuck something in my general area and It hurt really bad. I was wanting to know if they broke my hymen. And if not what did they do? They stuck it in my vagina. Not in my uritha. What did they do?
It's likely they did a vaginal ultrasound. They're common and helpful to see what's going on internally without your bladder being in the way. It was probably the quickest way to tell if your appendix had burst and where in your abdomen they'd find it. (They'd find it anyway, but the incision is smaller and healing is faster.)
If your hymen was intact, it's likely that it was broken.
One item to note: until you have sex, you're still a virgin, hymen or no hymen.
I'm glad they caught it in time for you to recover!
That is something that you need to ask your doctor. Don't be embarrassed, they are there to help you!
