What could it be if seven days after my period I spotted brownish/red discharge for one day?

I normally have very regular periods. The spotting incident is completely new for me. There was no pain, no itching or bloating but that same day I felt like an oven. I'm not on birth control and I've been extremely tired in the same week. I think it could be stress but I'm still unsure and my appointment is not until a month from my spotting day. I'm trying to calculate implantation but it doesn't seem like that would be the case. Should I be worried? I'm 29 so pregnancy is not what I'm worried about. What could it be if seven days after my period I spotted brownish/red discharge for one day?
Normal - sometimes that just happens with periods - its good that you are getting checked out just to be sure, but it really doesn't sound like anything to worry about.
You might have an infection. Have your doctor check you up.
Could be stress. However ask you OB/GYN.
Red blood is fresh blood. So if it was brownish/red that means it was old blood, which is good, Don't be worried about a thing. Be sure to tell your doctor about it, and then you can figure out when you'll be ovulating. It was probably stress.
I don't think you should be worried. Probably just some hormonal irregularity, possibly some discharge from an erosion on your cervix. Of course, if you have been sexually active, there is the possibility that it could be implantation.
Wait one week and take a home pregnancy test and of course keep your appointment with your doctor.
It could be stress, it could be a number of things. But I doubt its anything to worry about. Ive had it happen to me a few times and Im fine. Did you have sex right after your period? Sometimes sex right after a period will cause some spotting.
